New from GTD Marine, Marine SideJets bow and stern thruster systems are a game-changer in marine engineering, reducing operational costs and delivering vessel control while being kinder to the environment.

Marine SideJets thruster systems

  • Enhanced performance and control: Marine SideJets offer the capabilities of standard thrusters in terms of manoeuvrability and thrust control but much more quietly and with greatly reduced disturbance in the water.

  • Ease of installation: Marine SideJets are designed to be simple to install whether you do it yourself or employ a marine engineer. The skin fittings are installed below the waterline and have an approximate down angle of 10 degrees build in. In most cases drilling the holes for the skin fittings is the main part of the installation. A 12v to 48v charger is built in to keep the battery bank (not included) charged up. The electrical installation is also straightforward with only the battery bank connection and a suitable connection to the boats 12v system. As well as the clear and detailed instructions that come with the Marine SideJets our technical team is always available to help.

  • Hoses: the hoses and clamps are not supplied but are inexpensive; we will provide a recommended link.

  • Handheld controllers: each system is supplied with two handheld wireless controller. Use one as a spare or give it to a crew member. A clip-in mounting bracket is also supplied so the controller can be used attached to the dash if preferred.

  • Ease of maintenance: all machinery is mounted inside the boat above the waterline. Although not strictly necessary, the unit can be flushed with fresh water at the end of the day and drained leaving it free from any corrosion or contaminate buildup. The Marine SideJets unit can be removed in a few minutes if required while your boat is still in the water, reducing costly lift outs.

  • Cost : fully installed for approximately half the cost of traditional systems, Marine SideJets offer an affordable alternative without compromising on performance and a list of unmatched benefits.

  • Warranty: Should there be any issue with a Marine SideJets unit a replacement will be sent overnight in a special transport box. Simply swop out the old unit and return it in the transport box (UK). The courier costs are covered by GTD Marine. Even if you are away on a trip you can get back up an running quickly and make the most of your time on the water. Conditions apply.
